I participated in an informationam session from the University of Bologna – very interesting, I recommend if you wish to study there – and here’s some information they gave us afterwards that were extremely useful to me:
CHOICE OF DEGREE PROGRAM

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Admission procedures and deadlines vary depending on the programme you choose and on your international student status.
After selecting a programme, visit the dedicated website and click on “Admission” to read the call for applications and the enrolment procedure.
For programmes taught in English, the English language requirement is specified in the degree programme website. For more info, contact the programme tutor or programme coordinator.
Application procedures for a.y. 2026/27 will open in a few months.
Classes will begin in September/October 2026.
REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-EU STUDENTS residing outside of Italy
If admitted, you will need to complete a pre-enrolment on Universitaly to apply for a Student Visa
If you are enrolling in a programme in Italian, you will also need to meet the Italian language requirement.
ENTRY QUALIFICATION
If you are admitted and have a non-Italian qualification, you will need to provide additional documents to complete the enrolment.
FEES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Tuition fees range from €2,000 to €5,900 annually, depending on the programme, your country of origin, and family income. You can apply for scholarship, housing, and tuition fee exemption through ER-GO by submitting documents that demonstrate your family’s income and assets. The call for a.y. 2026/27 will be published around June / July 2026.
