Padoue possède une architecture très lisible pour un étudiant qui veut orienter progressivement son cursus. À partir de la quatrième année, chacun choisit l'un de trois parcours professionnalisants : animaux de compagnie, animaux de rente ou santé publique. Ces parcours représentent 15 CFU répartis sur les Years 4 et 5. Le tirocinio est lui aussi particulièrement structuré : 35 CFU au total, acquis progressivement puis massivement en cinquième année. L'environnement d'Agripolis concentre l'hôpital universitaire, les départements vétérinaires, des infrastructures agricoles expérimentales et un écosystème de recherche et santé animale. L'OVUD prend en charge animaux de compagnie, cheval et NAC, avec urgences, hospitalisation et spécialités.
Sciences fondamentales et vétérinaires de base.
Poursuite des sciences précliniques et premiers CFU de tirocinio.
Pathologie, maladies, sciences vétérinaires et tirocinio progressif.
Début d'un des trois parcours professionnalisants : animaux de rente, animaux de compagnie ou santé publique.
Seconde partie du parcours professionnalisant et majorité du tirocinio curriculaire.
