Lugo se distingue par une dernière année de pratiques très diversifiée. Les 24 ECTS de prácticas tuteladas sont séparés en trois blocs : 7 ECTS de rotation au Hospital Veterinario Universitario Rof Codina, 9 ECTS d'estancias cliniques externes ou de recherche clinique et 8 ECTS dans des environnements non cliniques ou administratifs, comme élevages, abattoirs, laboratoires, industrie agroalimentaire ou services vétérinaires officiels. Le Rof Codina apporte un véritable environnement hospitalier universitaire multi-espèces avec imagerie avancée et activité ambulatoire.
