Admission Guide

  1. Bachillerato (Science stream)

Complete Year 2 of Bachillerato in the Science stream, focusing especially on Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics II or Physics — the subjects with the highest weighting for Veterinary Medicine in the Aragon university district.

  2. Sit EBAU / PAU

Take the university entrance exams. In the voluntary admissions phase, choose the two subjects that carry the highest weighting for Veterinary in Aragon: Biology II and Chemistry (×0.2 each), pushing your score up towards the 14-point maximum.

  3. Apply via Aragon pre-enrolment

Submit your course preference list through the Aragon University District pre-enrolment system, listing Veterinary Medicine at UNIZAR in your preferred order. Usually in July — check deadlines at universidades.aragon.es.

  4. Place allocation

The ≈ 146 places are allocated in strict descending order of nota de admisión. The cut-off is the score of the last student admitted in the first allocation (Zaragoza typically publishes this in early July). Further allocation rounds continue until September.

  5. Enrolment

Enrol within the official deadline if you receive a place offer. Apply simultaneously for the MEC grant if you meet the income criteria.

Is it the history (1847), Zaragoza as a city, the public fees, the more accessible cut-off, or the livestock medicine specialisation?
