About the school

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at CEU UCH, in Alfara del Patriarca (Valencia), was the first to offer Veterinary Medicine in the Valencian Community and has over 20 years of experience. It is the only private university in Europe with Full EAEVE Accreditation (awarded in November 2017), the most demanding European standard for veterinary education.

It is also the only Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Spain with three language tracks: Spanish, English and French, with free language support included. The official degree qualifies graduates to practise throughout the European Union.

It belongs to the Fundación San Pablo CEU, the largest private education network in Spain.

Campus & Facilities

The main campus is in Alfara del Patriarca (Carrer Lluís Vives 1, 46115), about 10 km north of Valencia city. It has a reference Veterinary Teaching Hospital operating 24 hours a day, receiving referred cases from practices across the Valencian Community, where students take part in on-call shifts.

There is also a Teaching and Research Farm for large-animal practice (horses, cattle) and handling, ethology and reproduction of several species (goats, sheep, poultry, dogs, cats), plus more than 1,000 external clinical placement slots. A free shuttle bus runs from Valencia city to campus.

  • Completed Bachillerato or equivalent (higher vocational qualification, university degree, etc.).
  • Entry does not depend on EBAU cut-off score: admission is by personal interview and profile.
  • Choose a language track: Spanish, English or French.

Work experience

Prior animal experience is not compulsory, but experience with animals (pets, shelter volunteering, clinical placements) is viewed positively in the admissions interview.
