About the school
The Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) is a private ecclesiastical university founded in 1996 at the Los Jerónimos Campus (Guadalupe). Its Degree in Veterinary Medicine is the only 50/50 Spanish–English bilingual programme among Spain's private veterinary faculties, making it a distinctive option for students planning an international career.
UCAM ranks No. 1 among Spanish private universities in Veterinary Medicine according to THE Impact Rankings and THE World University Rankings by Subject. With just 60 places per year, it offers one of the lowest student-to-faculty ratios in the private sector, and its teaching hospital in La Ñora (Murcia) houses the K9 Diesel canine simulator, the only one of its kind in Europe.
