About the school

The single-cycle master's degree in Veterinary Medicine (LM-42) at the Università degli Studi di Milano is delivered by the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences (DIVAS) on the Lodi campus. La Statale is Italy's largest public research university.

    The MUR publishes the single national merit ranking (Universitaly/CIN). Students ranked high enough at their chosen seat advance to semester 2.

  5. Enrol in semester 2

    Complete enrolment at the chosen seat (Lodi / UniMi) and begin the second semester of year 1.

    Final sitting for students who did not pass in November. This closes the filter-semester exam window.

  5. ~January 2027
    National merit ranking and enrolment

    The MUR publishes the national merit ranking. Students ranked sufficiently high for Lodi/UniMi proceed to enrol in semester 2. Exact dates: TO VERIFY.

FAQ

Is there still an entrance test (TOLC-VET) for Veterinary Medicine in Milan?
No. From 2025/26 the TOLC-VET has been abolished: admission is through the open semester (free enrolment) and a national merit ranking based on the scores of the three exams (Chemistry, Physics, Biology). There is no more pre-university entrance test.
