Is the degree recognised across Europe?
The programme holds EAEVE accreditation (full membership, valid until March 2031), which facilitates recognition of the degree in European countries. To practise in a specific country, always verify requirements with the local regulatory body.
Where is the veterinary campus?
The Veterinary Medicine faculty is at Ozzano dell'Emilia, on the outskirts of Bologna, home of DIMEVET and the University Veterinary Hospital. Bologna city centre is accessible by metropolitan public transport.
How much does it cost to live in Bologna as a student?
Bologna is one of Italy's most expensive university cities. A realistic budget is €900–€1,300/month covering rent (€450–€650 for a shared room), food, transport and everyday expenses. ER.GO scholarship recipients can access subsidised university accommodation at reduced rates.
