Admission Guide

1. Create an account on apply.univet.hu

   Application window: 1 January - 30 June 2026 for the 2026/27 intake.

2. Upload application documents

   Secondary-school certificate or predicted grades, transcript, CV in English, motivation letter, medical certificate, passport copy, optional recommendation letters.

3. Pay application fee

   Non-refundable EUR 200.

4. Book an entrance exam slot

   From the published February-June 2026 calendar. Pay the EUR 250 exam fee.

5. Sit the written exam (online via Zoom)

   Biology + Chemistry + English, up to 210 minutes, starting 10:00 Hungarian time.

6. If threshold scores are met: attend oral interview

   Same day, 14:00-19:00 CET. Requires ≥50% overall written, 30% Biology, 30% Chemistry, 50% English.

7. Receive Admissions Board decision

   Same day or within 10 days. Formal notification within 2 weeks.

8. On admission: pay deposit

   EUR 800 within 3 weeks (visa applicants) or by 20 August 2026 (non-visa), followed by the balance of the first-semester tuition.

9. Visa procedures + registration in Budapest

   Register on-site for the September 2026 semester start.
