Participate in SHOC
SHOC is a monitoring program for wintering bird populations run by LPO Alsace. Experienced volunteers conduct 300-meter transects at a slow pace within 2 km squares, recording all observed species. Two surveys in December and January track the spatial and temporal evolution of avian communities in winter.
