Squirrel Crossings in the City of Pessac: We're Looking for Volunteers!
LPO Aquitaine is recruiting volunteers to support an innovative squirrel passage project in Pessac. Two ecoducts will be installed starting in November near Bourgailh Forest, allowing small tree-dwelling animals to safely cross roads via ropes strung at height. Volunteers will be responsible for restocking nut reserves, observing wildlife use of the structures, and reporting any malfunctions.
