Cinereous Vulture Survey in Hérault in 2027
Join LPO Occitanie in monitoring the Cinereous Vulture in Hérault, a critically rare species reintroduced since the 1990s. You will participate in surveys in the Caroux, Bédarieux and Lodève areas, primarily in winter and spring, by observing from fixed vantage points the comings and goings of birds at their nests. This autonomous fieldwork directly contributes to understanding and protecting this threatened species as it gradually recolonizes its former territories.
